Make Money with Google AdSense

If you have a website, or have been considering making one, you should learn as much about Google’s AdSense. Many websites all over the Internet make money with Google AdSense, and some website owners even make enough to not have to do any other work. It all depends on the amount of traffic you get to your site and how targeted that traffic is to the subject of your site.

What is AdSense and how does it work?

AdSense are those ‘Ads by Google’ that you often see on people’s websites. Basically, if you have signed up with Google AdSense to allow these ads to be placed on your site, Google will comb your site for certain content and keywords and place ads that appropriate to that content on your site. If, for example, you run a site that is all about discussion of garden rakes, then chances are Google will place ads that have to do with garden rakes or garden implements on your site. Every time one of your site’s visitors click on one of those ads and then go on to make a purchase, you get a small amount of money. This may not sound like such a big deal until you consider the fact that if your site has thousands of visitors and even only a small percentage of them click the ads, this can still add up to a lot of money over not very much time. And if you then consider that you made much of that money while you were sleeping or maybe in the shower ‘96 earning what people in the business call ‘passive income’ ‘96 then you might start to see what all the fuss is about with making money with Google AdSense.

How do I get started?

The first thing you will need if you don’t have one already is a website. Try to pick one that will be about something you are already interested in or know a lot about. You will be responsible for creating content for the site, so it will be easiest if you don’t have to do a lot of research, but can just post about what you know. After you have a website set up, a domain name and a host picked out, the next thing you will need to do is set up your AdSense account. This is the code that you will paste on your website that will allow Google to publish their ads on your site.

After that, you just need to add content to your site and you are on your way to making money with Google AdSense.
